While most celebs where making sure to cover their breasts and butts per the memo released by the Grammys, country cutie Carrie Underwood was busy bedazzling with a $31 million diamond necklace.
According to People, Underwood dazzled in an array of gems by Johnathon Arndt. The necklace featured oval, pear, marquise and round brilliant diamonds, totaling 381 carats.
“It’s heavy on my soul,” Underwood told E! “I’m afraid someone is going to tackle me and steal it … It’s worth more than me.”
Underwood paired the jewels with a gorgeous black Robert Cavalli gown, Huffington Post reported.
Last week a memo was sent out to Grammy attendees explaining the new strict guidelines against inappropriate showing of bare skin.
"Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic,” the memo read at the time.
Underwood more than abided by the rule, looking classy and incredibly sparkly.
Underwood is nominated for a Grammy for “Best Country Solo Performance.”
