Cee Lo Green sued over concerts

Cee Lo Green is reportedly being sued for $14.2 million over concerts that never took place last year.

TMZ reports that a bit of bargaining took place between Cierra Management Group and the singer’s people regarding two Christmas concerts that paid him $243,000. According to the lawsuit, Cierra is under the impression that since the concerts never happened, it was actually "a scheme designed to finagle funding capital for concerts they knew would not manifest."

It is said that Green is being sued for refusing to perform the shows, but not necessarily for the alleged scheme.

His rep told TV Guide, “When this story came out yesterday, it was the first time that CeeLo Green and his current management team had even heard about this concert deal. Most importantly, CeeLo was never compensated or involved. It is unfortunate and ridiculous that CeeLo Green's name is associated with such an incident as this is not how he handles business."
