Chris Brown is back in court today because a prosecutor is accusing him of not following through with his hours of community service that he was required to do, following the 2009 Rihanna assault.
It seems that Chris Brown lied about his hours. In September, 701 hours were logged in seven months, which took him two years to clock that many hours prior, reportsThe Huffington Post.
The courts smelled something fishy and decided to check it out.The courts spoke to the people who were supposed to be overseeing the service in Virginia where Brown was supposed to be serving and nothing added up.
"This inquiry provided no credible, competent or verifiable evidence that defendant Brown performed his community labor as presented to this court,” the District Attorney said.
“The D.A’s office has apparently lost their minds and apparently they can’t read their own reports which clearly state he did the work,” Brown’s lawyer, Mark Gergaos responded in a statement to Fox News
Brown’s lawyers are not going down without a fight, but the courts are requesting that he redo his service hours in Los Angeles, siding with the prosecution.
