Chrissy Teigan says she never gave John Legend a wedding ultimatum

Did swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen really tell her fiance, John Legend, that he only has 10 months left to tie the knot before she backs out?

At a party for Sports Illustrated’s 2013 swimsuit issue, Chrissy told the NY Daily News that she is only giving John until the end of the year to marry her. The two have been dating for seven years and have been engaged since December of 2011. “We keep pushing the date,” she said.

“Definitely this year, but this year just started,” Teigen continued. “If it’s not this year, I’m out.”

Teigen also said she and John got engaged in order to appease their friends and family, but it is not quite going according to plan. “We were sick of people saying, ‘When are you getting engaged?’ — so we did,” she told the NY Daily News. “And now everyone’s asking when we’re getting married.”

However, Teigen recently cleared the air at Oak Nightclub in Las Vegas. She told Extra, “Obviously it was a joke… I don’t even care about getting married.”
