‘Dallas’ episode recap: 'Blame Game'

We open as Sue Ellen visited Ann in prison and told her they were all preparing something for the sentencing. Ann told her that she didn’t have much hope but Sue Ellen replied that she was sure they wouldn’t sentence her to 20 years and encouraged Ann not to give up.

Shoot to outside courtroom, Sue Ellen grilled Elena about getting the report on the drill site and Elena assured her that she would get it done. Later, John Ross joined Sue Ellen, who was aggravated and he encouraged her to take what was hers.

Shoot to Cano being reprimanded at the consulate for Veronica’s (the fake Marta’s) death and crossing the Ewings. He was then told that he was being sent back home. Later, he plotted giving the Ewings a proper goodbye before he left.

Shoot to the mediation. Christopher agreed to give Pamela 10 percent of Ewing Energies in exchange for full joint custody of the twins and an annulment. Lew advises them the agreement was binding but wouldn’t be final until after the twins’ birth.

Shoot to Sue Ellen in her office as she looked over her contract with Elena. Then, John Ross came in and tipped her off to Drew’s arrest. He then told her that if she invoked her morality clause she would get all of Elena’s shares. He then added that he wanted to partner with Sue Ellen to grow Ewing Energies, that Christopher and Elena screwed him over and that he needed her on his side. She replied by asking John Ross if he set Drew up. He told her that he didn’t, he just made sure he got caught.

Shoot to JR getting his iPad set up at home and bugging Bobby until he clicked on a cute animal video that made him chuckle.

Shoot to Elena and Drew chatting about his arrest at home when Christopher arrived. They told him that Drew was going to plead guilty and then it will be over. Christopher wondered why she didn’t tell him but she said that she didn’t want to bother him. He then told her that he was ready to plan their wedding.

Shoot to Bobby testifying about how he met Ann during her hearing. He called her the most caring, compassionate person he knew and pleaded with the jury to see the larger truth of what happened. The judge then called for a recess and Harris got a dig in at Bobby and Ann before she was cuffed and led off.

Shoot to Pamela’s condo. She called Cliff and told him that she got into Ewing like he wanted. John Ross joined her later and was glad she could sign over her shares to him but she told him that she had to hold onto them for her kids. He demanded more answers but she thought he would be fine with Sue Ellen’s shares from Elena. He was furious.

Shoot to Bobby visiting Emma while she was riding to remind her that she had another family at Southfork. She was affected when he told her that she reminded him of Ann.

Shoot to Christopher visiting Drew in his office and he grilled him about why he did it. Drew said that he was trying to earn money to buy their father’s land back from Bobby, added that he was sure someone smashed his taillight on purpose to set him up and pointed out the previous foreman’s obvious drilling mistake.

Shoot to Ewing Energies as Christopher tried to get ahead of Sue Ellen’s plot to take Elena’s shares. He found what he needed and called Elena to warn her, but was too late to stop Drew from signing the plea. Later, she was livid with Drew but he said he just wanted to help her fight the Ewings.

Shoot to Cano being driven away from the consulate. His cuffs were removed in the car. It was two hours before his escape was noticed.

Shoot to Pamela signing the contract with Christopher and she decided to drop it off in person with a copy of the ultrasound.

Shoot to Emma surprising Ann in prison. She could tell Emma was worried about something and told her a story about Harris flipping out about her getting highlights. Ann then assures Emma that it would get easier.

Shoot to Southfork. Christopher told Bobby what Sue Ellen and John Ross pulled. Then, Sue Ellen showed up with paperwork. Bobby went to confront JR but found his room cleaned out. Then, Bobby pulled out his cloud drive to show John Ross what he has on them, but when he tried to open it, the file erased because there was a virus in the email JR had sent him.

Shoot to Pamela listening outside. Suddenly, Cano busted in with three armed thugs. They grabbed Pamela as she was about to go in with the papers. They stormed in and demanded Christopher’s methane prototype. Cano then threatened Pamela then Elena if he didn’t get the patent in an hour.

Shoot to the sentencing hearing. Ann was concerned when none of the Ewings were there and Lew couldn’t reach them. Then, Emma arrived.

Shoot to the courtroom as Ann and Lew worried when Bobby didn’t show up. Ann testified to Harris’ mental abuse and kidnapping of Emma. She then apologized to Emma and begged her for a second chance. Harris then testified and asked the jury to put Ann behind bars for a very long time. It went to jury and Ann was even more worried about Bobby. Later, Ann was sentenced to probation. Judith demanded a mistrial but the judge couldn’t take anymore. He told Harris that he might have shot him too if he had done the same to him.

Shoot back to Southfork. As they were being held hostage, Elena asked John Ross why he screwed her out of the company. "You broke my heart," he said. "I saw the good in you when no one else did," she replied and said the day she stopped seeing the good in him was the day that it died.

Shoot to Ewing Energies as Christopher gets out his prototype then tossed it at Cano’s henchman. Then, they struggled and Christopher got the gun, but the henchmen had a text ready to go telling Cano to shoot Elena.

Shoot back to Southfork. Bobby encouraged Sue Ellen to give back Elena’s shares. Later, Pamela asked John Ross if she was really just revenge sex and he told her that was all he could afford. Then, Christopher returned with the prototype and Cano decided to take Elena with him. Outside, Drew arrived, saw Cano’s helicopter land and Elena being led away by Cano. Drew got his rifle. Inside, John Ross faked going after Christopher as a distraction and the Ewing men all went after their captors. Then, Christopher ran outside to Elena, decked Cano and then covered Elena with his body as he braced himself to get shot by Cano. A shot rang out, but it wasn’t aimed at Christopher, Cano had been shot through the back by Drew.

Shoot to John Ross checking on Pamela. Bobby told Sue Ellen that they were stronger together as a family. Then, Ann arrived with her good news.

Shoot to Ewing Energies. Bobby, Elena and Christopher were shocked when John Ross introduced Sue Ellen as the newest member of their board. "I never go looking for a fight, but when one finds me, I sure as hell finish it and they are in for the fight of their lives," Bobby vowed to Christopher.
