'Dancing with the Stars'' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd split

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd of Dancing with the Stars have decided to end their ten month relationship.

According to Us Weekly, the pair called it quits about two weeks before Valentine's Day. A source told the site Chmerkovskiy “wasn't feeling her anymore.”

Perez Hilton reports that the breakup was not mutual, and that Murgatroyd did not want to end the relationship. A source added, “It will be very heated between them when the [new] season starts in a few weeks."

Chmerkovskiy was seen at New York Fashion Week chatting with several other girls. The dancer was previously engaged to fellow cast-member Karina Smirnoff, and had also been rumored to have a romance with his season ten partner Erin Andrews.

After calling off his engagement to Smirnoff in 2009, the star spoke to The New York Post saying, “I will never speak to that person again. And I never have. It has been years now. But I am not bitter.”

He added that working with his ex was hard, saying, “But I just go about my business and do my thing. It is very hard.” Chmerkovskiy will once again be put back into the same situation for the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars which premieres March 16.
