Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz are in negotiations to star on Broadway together in Harold Pinter’s Betrayal.
Betrayal tells the story of a publisher, named Robert, whose wife Emma is having an affair with his literary agent and friend, Jerry. In the play, Craig is in talks to portray the character of Robert, and Weisz would play his wife Emma.
Just Jared reports that the couple are definitely in talks to star in the revival of the play, and it would be their first time working together as a married couple.
E! News reports that Weisz revealed during her promo tour for Oz the Great and Powerful that, “We’re absolutely hoping to. We’re in negotiations. I want to very much.”
Although this would be Weisz’s Broadway debut, Craig is no stranger to
‘The Great White Way.’ The Skyfall star appeared in A Steady Rain with Hugh Jackman back in 2009. Weisz has some experience with the world of theater from her time spent on the West End.
