Demi Lovato ‘would love to see Lady Gaga’ judge X Factor

Although still unsure about her own position on the show, Demi Lovato says she would choose Lady Gaga to take Britney Spears’s place as judge on Fox’s The X Factor.

According to Extra, Demi Lovato hopes to return as a judge on the X Factor, schedule permitting.

Demi commented, “I'm focusing on my music this year, so it's going to be a lot of touring, a lot of promoting of my album… but I would love to. Obviously, if they asked for me to come back, I'd say yes.”

Since Britney Spears and L.A. Reid both quit, two more judges will be needed to take their place for the upcoming season.

“I mean, who can replace Britney Spears? Let’s be honest,” remarked Lovato to E!

However, one superstar did stand out in her mind to fill the role.

“I would love to see Lady Gaga. I don’t know if that’s possible or not,” Demi stated.

Lovato recently performed at the opening of TopShop at the Grove in Los Angeles, CA.

She is still recovering from a nasty spill she took at home, breaking her leg after falling on a floor her roommate had cleaned with Pledge. However, she appeared focused and strong as she belted out “Give your Heart a Break” in front of thousands of on-lookers.

Her next single, “Heart Attack,” will be released March 4.
