Diane Lane, Josh Brolin end eight-year marriage

By Gina DiFalco,

Josh Brolin and Diane Lane have decided to end their eight-year marriage, their reps confirm.

Lane, 48, and Brolin, 45, decided to go their separate ways a few months back, as a rep told Us Weekly, “Diane Lane and Josh Brolin have decided to end their marriage.” A source close to the couple also added "It was a mutual decision. It is very amicable. It's not ugly, it's just over."

The Gangster Squad star and his wife got married in August of 2004, they have no children together and it will be the second divorce for both. Brolin, however, has two children with his ex-wife; Trevor, 24, and Eden, 18.

They were both married to other people in the years 1988 to 1994, Lane to Christopher Lambert and Brolin to Alice Adair.

In January, Brolin attended the premiere of Gangster Squad without Lane following his arrest for public intoxication.

He said at the time, “My wife is home sick.” They have also been plagued by cheating rumors, but Brolin has formerly claimed "I don't f*** around on my wife."
