Donald Trump suing Bill Maher for $5 million for charity

After producing his birth certificate upon request, Donald Trump is planning to sue Bill Maher for the $5 million he had promised to donate to charity.

According to NewsMax, HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher host commented to Jay Leno during a Tonight Show appearance in January that he was disappointed Donald Trump had never released his birth statement, especially considering he had made a fuss over Obama’s records.

In fact, Maher agreed to donate $5 million to the charities of Trump’s choosing if he could prove he was not the “spawn of a mother having sex with an orangutan.”
Trump took to Twitter to publicly accept the “bet.”

Trump’s attorney, Scott Balber, produced the document with a note: “Attached hereto is a copy of Mr. Trump’s birth certificate, demonstrating that he is the son of Fred Trump, not an orangutan.”

Furthermore, the letter detailed the five charities the $5 million should be split between — Hurricane Sandy Victims, The Police Athletic League, The American Cancer Society, The March of Dimes, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Trump then proceeded to ridicule Maher via Twitter when he failed to come up with the promised donation to charity in a timely manner, thus sparking a lawsuit.

Maher has not yet commented on the suit.
