Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert lead nominations for Academy of Country Music Awards

Eric Church and Hunter Hayes are dominating the nominations for the 48th Academy of Country Music Awards.

Church is nominated in seven categories including Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year as well as two nominations for Song of the Year, Rolling Stone reports. Hayes is nominated in six categories including New Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year for his chart topping hit “Wanted” and Single Record of the Year for the same song.

Also on the list of hot noms are Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert, who are leading in the categories for women. Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves and Little Big Town were also announced as nominees Wednesday, Las Vegas Sun reports.

Swift’s album Red is up for Album of the Year.

The Entertainer of the Year award is the highest award offered at the ACM awards; Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Lambert, Blake Shelton and Swift were nominated in the prestigious category.

The Academy of Country Music Awards will take place in Las Vegas, Nev. at the MGM and will be broadcast live on CBS, April 7.
