Fall Out Boy fans, hold it together because Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump and the boys are getting back together!
It was announced in 2010 that the “Sugar We’re Going Down” singers were taking a break, according to E! Online.
Now, it’s a new year and the band is coming back, better than ever.
A press released announced that “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark” is the first single off the new album, Save Rock and Roll. The album will be released on May 7, which is the anniversary of Fall Out Boy’s first album, according to People.com.
Along with that press release, the band released a statement about their comeback,
“When we were kids the only thing that got us through most days was music. It's why we started Fall Out Boy in the first place. This isn't a reunion because we never broke up. We needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us. The future of Fall Out Boy starts now. Save Rock And Roll.”
Before the release of the album, Fall Out Boy will play three shows before a tour kicks off on May 14.
