‘The Following’ ratings climb, ABC’s ‘The Bachelor’ hits season high

Fox and ABC got a dose of good news last night, with ratings for The Following and The Bachelor up significantly over their previous episodes. The Bachelor’s performance even propelled ABC to a rare Monday win over CBS.

ABC averaged 9.38 million viewers and a 2.7 18-49 rating. The Bachelor jumped to 9.2 million viewers and a 3.0 18-49 rating over its two hours. That was an 11 percent rise over the previous week, notes The Wrap. Castle was also up to 9.7 million viewers and a 2.2 18-49 rating.

CBS slipped to a close second with 9.23 million viewers and a 2.7 18-49 rating, reports HitFix. How I Met Your Mother drew 8.85 million viewers and a 3.4 18-49 rating, while Rules of Engagement drew 8.14 million and a 2.8 rating. 2 Broke Girls had 10.11 million viewers and a 3.4 18-49 rating. Mike & Molly had 10.33 million viewers and a 3.1 18-49 rating and Hawaii Five-0 closed out the night with just under 9 million viewers and a 12.0 18-49 rating.

Fox had 8.31 million viewers and a 2.4 18-49 rating. Bones slipped to 8.32 million and a 2.1 18-49 rating. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Following got a much needed boost, drawing a 2.8 18-49 rating. It had 8.31 million viewers.

NBC was in fourth with just 4.77 million viewers and a 1.7 18-49 rating. The Biggest Loser had 5.6 million viewers and a 1.8 18-49 rating, while Deception had just 3.2 million and a 1.2 key demo rating.

The CW’s Carrie Diaries had just under 1.2 million viewers and a 0.4 18-49 rating. 90210 drew just 532,000 viewers and a 0.2 18-49 rating.
