Taylor Swift opens the show with an Alice in Wonderland-themed performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” She even takes a dig at Harry Styles by saying, "I still love you" in a British Accent and then saying, "I’m like, I’m sorry, I’m busy opening up the Grammys."
LL Cool J takes a moment to say why it means so much to him to host the Grammys. He tells the crowd, “A Grammy isn’t just a shiny trophy to hold on to, a Grammy is a dream come true.”
Ed Sheeran and Elton John then duet with an amazing performance of “The A Team.”
Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez present the nominees for Best Pop Solo Performance, which Adele wins for "Set Fire to the Rain." She says in her speech, "I want to send big love to all the other girls and all the females doing this because we work so hard and we make it look so easy."
Neil Patrick Harris then introduces Fun., who perform "Carry On," complete with water that splashes over them.
John Mayer and Bonnie Raitt introduce Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert, who sing "Over You" and "Home."
Miguel and Wiz Khalifa then perform "Adorn" and present the nominees for Best Country Solo Performance, which goes to Carrie Underwood for "Blown Away." She says in her speech, "Country music has always been so big and I thank the good Lord that I'm part of such a wonderful, talented, amazing family."
Faith Hill and Tim McGraw present Song of the Year, which goes to "We Are Young" by Fun.
Johnny Depp then introduces Mumford & Sons, who perform "I Will Wait."
