Olivia Palermo turns 27!
Born in Greenwich, CT, Olivia Toledo Palermo was born to a real estate developer father and an interior designer mother.
Palermo grew up between Greenwich, CT, and Upper East Side, NY, where she attended the prestigious Nightingale-Bamford School.
The model/reality TV personality initially denied that she would appear in The City, a spin-off of MTV's series, The Hills. She eventually did, and the reality TV show skyrocketed her name to fame.
While on the show, she worked in the PR department for Diane von Furstenberg, and later the accessories department for Elle.
After the show finished its second and last season, Palermo was signed into Wilhelmina Models agency, and appeared in several magazines covers, such as Elle, ASOS Magazine, Tatler, Shop Til You Drop, and Marie Claire.
Other than magazine-cover modeling, Palermo did runway modeling as well. She modeled in 2010 for Mango and Hogan.
Palermo did not stop in only modeling. In 2010, she launched a jewelry line for Roberta Freymann. In the next year, she was once invited to design a shoe by Stuart Weitzman for charity, and she's a guest editor for an online retail website. Palermo appeared as a guest judge in Project Runway, and Britain and Ireland's Top Model.
She is currently dating fellow model Johannes Huebl, and the couple resides in Brooklyn, NY.
