After having huge success with the first Hunger Games film, fans worldwide couldn't wait to see any pictures of the cast filming the anticipated sequel, Catching Fire. With the release of two all-new posters, fans will no longer only have to imagine.
The Hollywood Reporter posted the two posters, and they are truly a sight to see.
The first poster features stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson as beloved characters Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. The image is captioned “Winners of the 74th Hunger Games.” The shot also shows Katniss holding a bouquet of white roses, which match her and Peeta's monochrome attire.
The second image again has the shot of the winning duo, but is zoomed out to reveal a pale sky, and the pair standing in front of a gigantic, metallic structure.
Perez Hilton reports Catching Fire has a different director from the Hunger Games's Gary Ross, bringing aboard director Francis Lawrence instead (no relation to actress Jennifer Lawrence).
The second film focuses around the winners' “victory tour,” which involves visiting each of Panem's twelve districts. The two face the challenges that the Capitol sets upon them, including preparing for the 75th Hunger Games, as well as their relationship with each other.
Eager fans will be able to see The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on November 22.
