Jack Nicholson flirts with Jennifer Lawrence at Oscars

Jennifer Lawrence was starstruck during a post-Oscar interview when Jack Nicholson appeared at her table to introduce himself.

As we previously reported, Jennifer Lawrence had quite the eventful night at the Academy Awards. After taking home her first Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, she answered a round of questions from different media groups. There, she explained how the length of her dress caused her to trip on the stairs leading up to the stage where she was walking to accept her honor.

The surprises didn't end when the ceremony finished, however. At the after party, Lawrence was speaking with ABC News’ George Stephanopolous when an unexpected guest interrupted them: Jack Nicholson.

“You did such a beautiful job. I don’t mean to crash your interview, but I wanted to congratulate you,” Nicholson told Lawrence. She was still in shock he was speaking with her let alone a fan of her work, evident by her hand clasped over her agape mouth.

“You’re being really rude,” she quipped in jest.

“You look like an old girlfriend of mine,” he continued, playfully flirting with the obviously awestruck starlet.

“Oh really? Do I look like a new girlfriend?” Jennifer replied with a laugh.

“I’ve thought about it,”Jack grinned.

After that exchange, Jennifer waved to Jennifer Garner, who was standing nearby mingling in the crowd.

“This is my life now. ‘Hey Jack. Hey Jennifer. How are you?’” Lawrence laughed, taking in her newfound success in stride.
