After starring in Horrible Bosses, Jason Bateman recently purchased the late Ernest Borgnine’s $3 million home in Beverly Hills.
Bateman, who will star in the upcoming Arrested Development reunion, recently told Howard Stern that he had some money trouble in the 1990’s due to a lack of significant roles.
The actor’s financial troubles are clearly over because he purchased actor Borgnine’s 6-bedroom home of 60 years with wife Amanda Anka.
According to Zillow, the estate was on the market for $3.395 million and was built in 1938.
Paul Lester, the listing agent for the house told Zillow, “Lots of Hollywood history has passed through the doors of this house.”
According to Yahoo News, the estate includes a large pool, library, study and one-bedroom guest house.
Bateman is set to co-star with funny gal Melissa McCarthy in Identity Thief, to be released on Friday. The film features Bateman as Sandy Patterson, a businessman who travels to Miami in order to catch the woman who stole his identity.
