Jay-Z teases Legends of Summer tour with Justin Timberlake on website, expected to hit 12 U.S. cities

By Gina DiFalco,

Justin Timberlake has confirmed he will be going on tour later this year, but it hasn’t been revealed who he will take with him. There have been rumors floating around that it could either be his “Suit & Tie” collaborator Jay-Z, or his wife, Beyonce, but new rumors say he and Jay-Z will definitely be announcing a Legends of the Summer tour.

The tour will reportedly hit 12 major U.S. cities and will be announced today.

On Jay-Z’s Life & Times website, he hinted at the announcement, posting a series of pictures of iconic venues that could be hosting the powerhouse musicians this summer.

Among the venues teased are Yankee Stadium, Candlestick Park in San Francisco, CA, M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD, Fenway Park in Boston, MA and more. He titled it “Legends of the Summer.”

Chicago Business reported that Live Nation is expected to make an announcement of a “major” act coming to Chicago’s Soldier Field, which is thought to be Timberlake and Jay-Z.

No official announcement yet, but expect one later today.
