The Oscars are just days away, but producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron still have more presenters to announce. Today’s group includes more A-list stars, with Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd, as well as Oscar winners Michael Douglas and Jamie Foxx, set to present.
Aniston and Rudd co-starred in Wanderlust recently. The Friends actress’ other film roles include Bruce Almighty, Office Space, Marley and Me and The Switch.
Rudd’s last film was Judd Apatow’s This Is 40 and has just filmed Admission alongside Tina Fey.
Douglas has two Oscars at home. He won his first as a producer on Milos Foreman’s classic One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, which won Best Picture. Later, he won Best Actor for his role in Oliver Stone’s Wall Street.
Foxx stars in the Best Picture-nominee Django Unchained. He won his Oscar for playing Ray Charles in Ray. That same year, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in Collateral.
The Academy also announced this week that Liam Neeson, Melissa McCarthy and Salma Hayek will also present.
Last week, current nominees Ben Affleck, Jessica Chastain and Jennifer Lawrence were added as presenters. Jean Dujardin, Meryl Streep, Octavia Spencer, Christopher Plummer, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Daniel Radcliffe, Channing Tatum. Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg and the casts of Chicago and The Avengers will also present.
Adele, Barbra Streisand and Shirley Bassey will perform.
With all the big name presenters, one has to wonder what host Seth MacFarlane will get to do.
The 85th Academy Awards are Sunday on ABC.
