Jennifer Lawrence after awards season: ‘I want to sit on my couch and drink and not change my pants for days’

After a busy awards season, Jennifer Lawrence, who can now call herself an Oscar-winning actress, just wants to take it easy for awhile.

Lawrence, 22, spoke to E! News about her post-Oscar plans while on the red carpet before her big Oscar win on Sunday. She revealed that she’s ready to sit back, relax and spend time at home.

“I want to sit on my couch and drink and not change my pants for days at a time,” she revealed.

She echoed the same desire to Us Weekly, “I see my couch. I see TV. I see a bottle of wine!"

Her busy schedule, however, doesn’t leave much time for that right now. She told E! News she’s “sinking into a bit of depression” because she has a lot of work ahead of her. She’ll be filming three new films in the next few months alone.

After the Oscars on Sunday, Lawrence headed to Hawaii to shoot more scenes for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. After filming wraps up in two weeks, she will start work on an untitled movie with her Silver Linings director, David O. Russell, and co-star Bradley Cooper. Following that project, she’ll begin shooting the X-Men sequel.

While Lawrence is the new “it girl" in Hollywood, it doesn’t seem like she is letting the success go to her head. Through it all she has remained humble. She enjoys acting, but when it comes down to it, she’s just an average 22-year-old who just wants to sit on her couch, relax and watch a little TV.
