Jennifer Lawrence to star opposite Christian Bale in David O. Russell film

Jennifer Lawrence is reuniting with Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell and costar Bradley Cooper in the upcoming Russell directed film, this time starring opposite Christian Bale.

New York Daily News reports that Lawrence will star as Bale’s wife in a drama surrounding a 1970s FBI operation.

The untitled film, which was written by Eric Singer and produced by Charles Roven and Richard Suckle, will center around the FBI conflict in Abscam, Deadline reports.

The film was first noted as American Bulls---.

According to Access Hollywood, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner are also slated to take on roles in the film.

Adams is slated to star as Bale’s mistress, while Renner will take on the role of a New Jersey assemblyman. Cooper will star as a federal agent.

Louis C.K. is also noted on the cast list but it is unclear who he will play. The film will begin shooting in early 2013 and is hoping for a 2014 release.
