Most people watching the Super Bowl have their eyes glued to the TV, but when half of the lights at the stadium went out, viewers were able to take a 35 minute break from the screen.
With no action on the field, and very few commercials during the pause, Jenny McCarthy, 40, took the opportunity to get a new tattoo.
People reports the star got a tattoo of a rose with detailed leaves and vines surrounding it.
The star shared her new ink on her Twitter the morning after the big game.

According to VH1.com, the star hosted the 'Leather and Laces' pre-game Super Bowl bash in New Orleans on Friday, February 2.
McCarthy recently scored her own talk show on VH1, noting, “I’m going into the show saying, ‘Here’s me, here’s all of me.’ I am smart, I am dumb, I am secure, I am insecure. I’m all of those things, and hopefully people will see that.” The Jenny McCarthy Show airs on VH1 on February 8.
