Michael Jackson's brother Jermaine Jackson has officially changed his name to Jermaine Jacksun.
The L.A. County Superior Court judge approved the 58-year-old's petition for the name change, TMZ reported.
The fourth eldest child of Katherine and Joe Jackson had not yet commented on the matter, notes E! News.
His spokeperson, however, told E! News that the singer initially filed his petition back in November, but only got approved yesterday.
The rep then said the decision to change one letter in his last name was a personal choice, and it was not a big deal.
The reason of the name change was artistic reason.
Jermaine did not attend the court hearing because he was on tour in Europe with his siblings.
This news broke the day after Cirque de Soleil announced its newest show would be a show honoring Jermaine's famous but late brother, Michael Jackson. It will be called Michael Jackson ONE, and begin its first performance on May.
