Jimmy Kimmel on Jay Leno: 'He doesn’t seem to be that worried about other people’s feelings'

Jimmy Kimmel has dissed fellow late night talk show host, Jay Leno, saying in a new interview with Playboy that he is basically heartless.

Kimmel, who has been open about his disdain for the veteran talk show host before, told Playboy, “He doesn’t seem to be that worried about other people’s feelings.”

He added, “Strangely I don’t even like talking about him anymore. The only time I think about him is when I’m asked,” CNN reports.

Kimmel didn’t hold anything back during the interview, saying “If I can imagine Jay Leno telling a joke, then I won’t do it, even if it’s a good joke.”

In January, Kimmel’s distaste for Leno likely deepened when his show Jimmy Kimmel Live was moved to the 11:35pm timeslot, which pitted him against Leno.

Although he is also pitted against David Letterman, Kimmel doesn’t mind him.

“Dave transcends any time slot; he is the father of comedy as we now know it,” said Kimmel. “I wonder if he knows what he means to every comedian under 50 years old.”
