John Cho and wife Kerri Higuchi welcome a baby girl

John Cho and wife Kerri Higuchi welcomed a new daughter into the world this past Monday. This is the couple's second child together, as they have a 4-year-old son as well. The pair married in 2006.

According to E! Online, the married couple are keeping it quiet on their newest addition. While Cho's rep did confirm the baby news, a name has not yet been announced.

The actor, 40, is currently filming for Matthew Perry's new comedy on NBC, Go On. Additionally, Cho can be seen in the anticipated movie Star Trek Into Darkness, which hits theaters this May.

Us Weekly reports the actor was excited about reprising his role with his talented costars saying, “Without the character stuff, all those dangerous sequences kind of are meaningless. The thrill of it is saying, 'I know those guys and it's those guys in that situation.'”

Cho also recently starred in Identity Thief with Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, which is currently in theaters. When talking about his career moves the actor laughed, “I’m a little impulsive with my career choices.”

Cho's wife has appeared in several television shows, most recently making an appearance on the comedy Parks & Recreation.
