ABC’s Last Man Standing will be hosting another Home Improvement reunion when Tim Allen is joined by Jonathan Taylor Thomas as guest star on the show this season.
Thomas, who used to play his son Randy, is set to appear in an episode that will air in either March or April, according to TV Guide. The 31-year-old actor will play the role of a high-end restaurant manager where Kristin Baxter (Amanda Fuller) decides to apply for work.
The other Home Improvement alum to appear on the show was Richard Karn (Al Borland) who played an architect.
In a 2011 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Thomas was asked if he’d ever consider a visit to Last Man Standing. He laughed and said, “We’ll see about that. I’m sure they have a lot of stories they want to get to.”
The show, which airs Fridays at 8/7c on ABC, is currently tied for first place in its time slot in adults 18-49 (1.9/7) and averages 7.9 million viewers, EW reported.
