Josh Duhamel explains seeing ultrasound makes the pregnancy real

Josh Duhamel and Fergie were thrilled following the announcement that they are expecting their first child, but the Safe Haven actor notes that actually seeing the ultrasound has made the whole experience real for him.

Duhamel gushed about seeing his unborn child via an ultrasound for the first time to Yahoo!.

"It's very exciting. Seeing that ultrasound is like unlike anything you've ever seen. Unless you've had one yourself. You're like 'wow it's mine,’” he explained.

Duhamel explained that he has always wanted to have children, but notes that even though all of his friends have kids and he has nieces and nephews, "All that stuff is a learning experience for when it actually happens but I don't think you're ever truly prepared until it's your own."

Fergie and Duhamel announced that they are expecting on Twitter last week writing, “Josh & Me & BABY makes three! #mylovelybabybump.”
