Justin Bieber gets inked again, reveals new “X” tattoo on his arm

18-year-old pop star Justin Bieber has gotten another tattoo. A stylized “X” is inked on his inner left forearm and was revealed on Mon. Feb 25.

According to DailyMail Online the teenaged crooner left a London nightclub wearing a jean jacket with rolled up sleeves. That’s when cameras captured the new skin art etched to the right of an older, grey-toned tattoo of an owl.

DailyMail Online identified the image as the Greek letter Chi, which translates to the English word Christ. Bieber has three other religious tattoos including the word Jesus written in Hebrew on his ribcage, another of Jesus wearing a crown of thorns on his left calf, and a pair of hands clasped in prayer that covers the back of his left leg nearly from ankle to knee. Bieber has a total of ten tattoos spread over his body ranging from collarbone to calf.

The Christian Post reported that Bieber’s mother Pattie Mallette, 38, did not know about the tattoo until two days after it debuted on the internet. Mallette sat for an interview with The Couch, a live morning news show out of New York, and told host Carolina Bermudez, “I saw that like seriously five minutes before I came on. I was looking at something and I said, 'Is that a new tattoo?’”

But Mallette took it all in stride. She explained how difficult it was to let her son make his own choices and that she can only hope that he will make good decisions and learn from her own mistakes.
