Justin Bieber scores fifth number one spot on Billboard 200

Following the debut of his fifth album Believe Acoustic, Justin Bieber has landed another number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

According to Billboard, Bieber holds the title of the only artist to hold five number one albums before the age of 19. Thus far, Believe Acoustic has sold over 211,000 albums - 75 percent of those sales were downloaded.

Bieber announced that he would release an acoustic album at the end of last year. The 18-year-old heartthrob compiled some of his top hits in addition to three new tracks which include "Yellow Raincoat," "I Would" and "Nothing Like Us." The latter being about ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Billboard notes that Bieber previously nabbed the number one spot with albums Believe, My World 2.0, Never Say Never: The Remixes and Under the Mistletoe.

Believe Acoustic beat out the likes of Andrea Bocelli, who released their seventh album, Tegan and Sara, and Charlie Wilson fell into third and fourth respectively.

Following his successful album release, Bieber will take on hosting duties on this week’s Saturday Night Live.
