Justin Bieber wears a gas mask while shopping in London

Justin Bieber knows how to get people talking. The 18-year-old "Nothing Like Us" singer was sporting one odd accessory while shopping in London on Monday. He was photographed wearing a gas mask.

As for the reason why Justin sported  the gas mask, it's  unclear. Bieber is a  known prankster, so he may have just been joking around, or he was  just  looking for a way to  disguise himself. Of course, if that was the case, he was drawing even more attention to himself by wearing the gas mask than if he wasn't wearing it at all.

Bieber offered little explanation. He posted a photo of himself wearing the gas mask. He captioned it, "Mi eht tseb" or "I'm the best" backwards.

According to Just Jared, while Bieber did wear the mask during his shopping trip,he didn't wear the mask while he shopped inside any stores.

The "As Long As You Love Me" singer is currently touring overseas. According to The Mirror,  he wasn't in London for a concert, but he is due to perform there next month. His London visit sparked rumors he was there to visit Ella-Paige Clarke, who he is rumored to be dating.
