Justin Timberlake is teaming up with Anheuser-Busch to promote Bud Light Platinum as the face of the product in the brand’s new commercials.
AdAge reported that the first ad, titled “Platinum Night,” will feature the pop star’s newest single, “Suit & Tie.” The ad will premiere throughout the Grammy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 10. Timberlake will also perform at the awards show.
“Bud Light Platinum brings a refined, discerning aesthetic to beer that plays well with what I'm doing,” Timberlake said. “I'm looking forward to not only being a part of the creative process, but in bringing other talented musicians to the forefront as well.”
Timberlake signed on as the brand’s creative director, one of many celebrities to take on a similar role with other companies. E! News noted that Lady Gaga is working with Polaroid and Alicia Keys recently partnered with BlackBerry. Timberlake’s role will be to “provide creative, musical and cultural curation for the brand.”
Yesterday, Timberlake unveiled the album cover for The 20/20 Experience, his first album since 2006. It will be released on March 19.
