It feels like it’s 2002 all over again!
This weekend, while Justin Timberlake was making his first live performance of “Suit and Tie” at the DirecTV SuperBowl Concert, he caused some hysteria amongst fans.
When Timberlake took to the stage to perform his first solo single, “Cry Me a River,” he made a small comment that was taken out of context, according to HollywoodLife.com
“Sometimes in life, you think you found the one. But then one day you find out, that she is just some bitch!” he said.
The media assumed the comment was slanted toward Spears whom the 2002 hit single was written about, after the pop royalty couple broke up.
Now, Timberlake is taking to Twitter to discern the rumors that his comment was made toward his ex-girlfriend.
“Ok. I see you. Wouldn't disrespect ANYONE personally. Ever. #Relax #ItsBritneyBitch I do love that saying though*with accent* #Respect” Justin tweeted, reports E! News.
Well, good thing he cleared that up.
