A Justin Timberlake media blitz just wouldn’t be right without an appearance on Saturday Night Live. The singer/actor has appeared on the show several times both as a guest host and in digital shorts, so it makes perfect sense for him to come back to promote The 20/20 Experience.
NBC announced today that Timberlake will host and perform on SNL on March 9, ten days before The 20/20 Experience hits store shelves on March 19.
The network also revealed that Timberlake will be on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon every night during the week before the album’s release, from March 11 to 17. He will perform every night and will chat with Fallon. It’s the first time that a celebrity guest will be featured for such a stretch in the show’s history.
Comedian Kevin Hart is set to host SNL on March 2, with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis as musical guests. It will be the first SNL appearances for both.
Timberlake has been everywhere lately, leading up to the release of The 20/20 Experience. This month, he’s performed at the Grammys in LA and at the Brit Awards in London. Just yesterday, he announced that he will perform at the Wireless Festival in London in July.
He has made several memorable appearances on SNL, including a few great digital shorts with former cast member Andy Samberg.
