Justin Timberlake is just inundating his fans with good news lately. He first announced his return to music for the first time since 2006, then it was confirmed that he will be performing at the Grammys this Sunday. He made his first appearance onstage in a long time at a pre-Superbowl party.
Now, Timberlake is announcing that along with his new album The 20/20 Experience, he will be releasing a behind-the-scenes documentary.
According to MTV News, Timberlake appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Monday and teased “Not to give too much away because you know I like surprising the fans, but that little piece of footage is from a documentary we started working on throughout the making of the album, which started last June,” referring to the clip he used to inform fans he was releasing his new single “Suit & Tie.”
He added, “So it was more a little excerpt from that, which I kinda thought about afterwards. Like, oh, people don't know about the documentary. This seems a little weird."
When it comes to his Grammy performance this weekend, Timberlake revealed "I'm still in the process of figuring all of it out," adding, "That was kind of a whirlwind, we got a phone call, got confirmed ... I'm like 'oh wait, I should put something together.' So I'm the process of doing something right now."
He also said about his new album that fans will “hear some stuff you've never heard.”
