Katy Perry 'doesn’t approve' of Rihanna’s reunion with Chris Brown

Katy Perry’s disapproval of Rihanna’s rekindled romance with Chris Brown led to a request for the once close friends to be seated far away from each other at this year’s Grammy Awards.

A source told Us Weekly that "They aren't tight anymore because Katy doesn't approve of Rihanna dating Chris Brown.”

All of the tension reportedly led Perry to insist on a seat away from the newly reunited couple.

“There was a request made to the seating people at the Grammys by Katy’s people,” another source told HollywoodLife.com. “They asked that Katy and Rihanna not be seated in the same section. Katy feels like there’s awkwardness there and she just didn’t want to deal with it.”

Reports previously surfaced that Grammy seating drama continued when Taylor Swift refused to be seated near Carrie Underwood or the singer’s ex John Mayer, causing much frustration for the staffers forced to accommodate for the requests, the reports were quickly debunked by Underwood who states she does not have a problem with Swift.
