Rumor has it that Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to co-host the next season of Fox’s primetime singing competition, The X Factor.

According to The New York Post, although Mario Lopez’s contract was renewed to host the upcoming X Factor season, Khloe Kardashian was not asked to return.
Kardashian had been struggling because this was her first hosting gig, so her nerves and insecurities due to lack of preparedness were inevitable.
“I've never done live TV before, and I was asked to not do any hosting lessons because they wanted me to be just myself,” Khloe commented of her experience, reports The Huffington Post.
Still, Khloe felt like she was “getting into my groove” as the weeks continued, partially thanks to the show’s producer Simon Cowell who had re-assured her he had chosen her because he felt she was right for the job.
However, the public had a different perception. Hosting expert Marki Costello found her stage presence to be “uncomfortable.”
Just last month, Britney Spears announced she was leaving as a judge. L.A. Reid chose to leave in December, citing that he needed to focus his time on Epic Records.
Fox and Cowell are in talks to hire Cheryl Cole as part of the judging panel. She had previously been a judge on the UK’s X Factor before being fired a few weeks into the first season.
