He first stole our hearts by reminding us how awesome Space Jam is and feeding us words of encouragement in possibly the best pep talk ever.
Now Robbie Novak, the 9-year-old behind SoulPancake's YouTube Show Kid President, is back with a new video, and this time he had some help from President Obama.
The two teamed up to announce the 135th annual White House Easter Egg Roll.
Surprisingly, Obama’s cameo isn’t even the best part of the video. The fun really starts at the one-minute mark when we get to see Novak’s reaction to the news of Obama’s appearance. There's shouting, giggling, singing, head explosions, and lots of sweet dance moves. However, the video wouldn’t be complete without a humorous history lesson on all the presidents who have participated in the White House Easter Egg Roll that Rutherford B. Hayes started in 1878.
“President Reagan. That’s so Reagan. Is that a show on Disney Channel? If it’s not, it should have been.”
What’s next for Kid President?
“Well, Kid President is going to go on a small break to enjoy his kid duties. During that time we’ll be getting some user driven content aimed toward other kids,” said Jacob Menache, assistant cameraman and filmmaker for SoulPankcake.
The Kid President videos have brought a lot of new viewers and subscribers to SoulPancake. They even had to make a video explaining what the company does after Kid President’s Pep Talk went viral because subscribers kept going up by the minute.
“We wanted to make sure people know we’re more than just Kid President. We have an amazing collection of shows and videos on our site that are just as heartwarming,” said Menache.
