Kim Kardashian angers fans by posting picture of jewel-encrusted gun after signing a Sandy Hook pledge

Kim Kardashian has created some backlash by posting a picture of a jewel-encrusted gun after signing a Sandy Hook pledge.

Some of her fans have become angry because of a tweet she sent out on Jan. 14, saying “Today, people in Newtown are making the #sandyhookpromise to reduce gun violence. Sign the pledge with me.”

The gun picture isn’t the first time she’s posted a photo of that nature. The Daily Mail reports that in August 2012 she posted a picture of herself holding a Beretta shotgun. In June, she posted one of a YSL designed gun with the caption "Bang Bang."

One follower wrote to her, @KimKardashian You have too much influence to be this blind and ignorant. Innocent children & people still die even if the gun is pretty.”

ABC News reports another wrote, “@kimkardashian seriously. When everyone is debating gun control, this is what you post – as if it’s just a fun accessory?”

Kardashian has since deleted the picture.
