Kris Humphries' lawyer quits ahead of Kim Kardashian's lawyer demanding trial date for next month

Just before the hearing that’s supposed to take place in regards to his divorce proceedings with Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries’ lawyer has quit.

Marshall Waller claims in court documents obtained by TMZ that he can no longer fulfill his duties in this case because he doesn’t see eye-to-eye with the Brooklyn Nets star.

He cited an “irremediable breakdown of the attorney-client relationship,” noting he tried to repair it with Humphries but it ultimately didn’t work out.

Us Weekly reports that Humphries still has attorney Lee Hutton on his side, but he needs a California lawyer to sponsor him now to replace Waller.

Kardashian, who’s pregnant with her boyfriend Kanye West’s baby, filed for divorce from Humphries in 2011 after just 72 days of marriage. Humphries has been trying to get an annulment and trying to prove Kardashian frauded him into marrying him.

The divorce trial has been delayed three times, and Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, is expected to demand a trial next month.
