The reality star opens up about what happened behind the scenes of the MTV reality show

Kristin Cavallari, known for being the bitchy blonde beach babe on MTV's reality show, Laguna Beach, is sharing her story about the time she spent filming for the show.

Splash recently had an interview with Cavallari in which she puts down the reality show that made her famous, saying, “The producers were really crappy to me. I felt like everybody was against me and manipulating me, and that forced me to be a bitch.”

Cavallari claims that some of her most embarrassing scenes (table-top dancing, screaming fights) were due to the manipulation of the show's producers.

According to Us Weekly, after graduating from high school the star moved to Los Angeles so that “people could forget about Kristin from Laguna Beach. I was known as the bad girl. And once you have that image, it's so hard to change it.”

However, the new mother eventually landed a role on Laguna spinoff, The Hills, which focused on the fashion career and daily life of Laguna Beach star Lauren Conrad. Once Conrad decided to leave the reality series, producers asked Cavallari to step in.

Speculation swirled about the content of the show being scripted and Cavallari says, “They did everything short of handing us a script. I had two lives: my Hills life and my real life. People are always surprised by how nice I am in real life.”

Cavallari is engaged to football player Jay Cutler and the pair welcomed a son, Camden, in August.
