Fans of Lady Antebellum will be thrilled to learn that the Grammy Award winning band will release a new album at the beginning of May.
According to Huffington Post, the band will release their fourth studio album entitled Golden on May 7. The album will feature either 11 or 12 song, one in which the Nashville threesome co-wrote with Eric Pasley.
Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott, who is expecting her first child in July, discussed the new album saying the focus was to back to the basics. Kelley explained that the band opted that the sound for this album is set to be different musically which he calls “a little more organic and less polished.”
As for their song with Pasley, Kelley tells HuffPo, “It's actually the last song we wrote for the record.”
Continuing he explains, “And we just thought the title represented the record as a whole and kind of where we are as a band…This nice little sweet spot as a band, and kind of getting, honestly, back to how we started with the songwriting together -- the three of us in a room."
The band released the official cover art of their album on their official Twitter page.
