Lady Gaga forced to cancel remainder of tour, will have surgery

Lady Gaga has officially canceled the remainder of her tour after undergoing extensive tests which show that the Mother Monster will need surgery.

Gaga informed her little monsters Tuesday that she had to postpone a handful of dates on her Born This Way Tour due to severe joint pain known as synovitis. Now, a rep has confirmed that Gaga must cancel the remainder of her tour.

"After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip," her rep tells People.

“She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal."

According to the report, refunds will be available for the cancelled performances on Thursday.

Gaga called the previous news “difficult” to tell her fans and continued to apologize for her absence. She has not yet commented on the tour's full cancellation.
