Lady Gaga postpones 'Born This Way' tour due to severe joint pain

Lady Gaga has been forced to cancel a series of dates on her Born This Way Ball tour, citing sever joint pain as the cause.

The mother monster revealed the disappointing news on Facebook Tuesday, noting the struggle she felt revealing the news for fear of disappointing her little monsters.

“There's an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Way Ball. Im so sorry. I barely know what to say,” she writes. “I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't."

Gaga has canceled shows in Chicago, Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Hamilton, Canada thus far.

“To the fans in Chicago, Detroit & Hamilton, I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself.,” she continues. “Im devasted & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, Gaga is suffering from synovitis where is an inflammation of the joints.

The LA Times notes that concert goers tickets will be honored when the dates are rescheduled.
