LeAnn Rimes blames her dentist for screwing up her career

Singer LeAnn Rimes filed a lawsuit against her dentist, Dr. Duane C. McKay, on Thursday, claiming that the work he has done for her over the past three years is affecting her career in a negative way.

According to omg!, the lawsuit states that McKay provided crowns and veneers in order to alleviate pain from TMJ and approve her overall appearance. Rimes says she has gone through nine root canals, bone grafting, a temporary bridge, and physical therapy.

Also in the suit, Rimes claims that she will have "permanent cosmetic deficiency," reports TMZ. The dental work is so bad that it has screwed up her career and impeded her ability to perform.

Back in October, Rimes tweeted, "I feel like I got hit in my right side of my face with a baseball bat."

According to TMZ, LeAnn is seeking unspecified damages for physical, emotional and psychiatric injuries, and also wants money for the loss of past and future earnings.
