Lil Wayne responds to Pitbull's song 'Welcome to Dade County,' which takes aim at the rapper's Miami Heat rant

Lil Wayne recently went on an on-stage rant about the Miami Heat, LeBron James, sleeping with Chris Bosh’s wife and more during All-Star Weekend in Houston.

It all started when he was kicked out of a Miami Heat game when he was there rooting for the opposing team, the Los Angeles Lakers.

There were rumors he got into a fight with a stranger and hinted at having a gun, but nonetheless, he took to Twitter to say “So I'm @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow! F#€k da Heat.”

On Feb. 17, he was still upset about the incident and said on stage in Houston “The NBA banned me from all NBA events. The Miami Heat told them to ban me. F*** LeBron. F*** She Wade. F*** Chris Bosh . I f***ed Chris Bosh’s wife.”

MTV News reports that he’s since commented on it, saying on 99 Jamz, "I don't apologize for being who I am. That's who I am, and yes, I did say those things. Only thing I do want to take back from saying that night, I said 'F--- LeBron,' I didn't mean to say that because me and LeBron we are cool and I'm really cool with his mom and we have a real good relationship. That's my homie but it just slipped out. I didn't mean to say that. Other than that though I don't take nothing back.”

This has angered Miami native Pitbull, who has released the song "Welcome to Dade County,” firing at Wayne, who has lived in Miami for years despite being a native of New Orleans.

He raps in the song, "You talk Miami, if you talkin' heat/ Moral of the story: Don't sh-- where you eat.”

Lil Wayne has since responded, tweeting "Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool.”
