Lil Wayne is apparently no friend of the law. A fan is claiming that when he attempted to take a photo of Lil Wayne last year, the rapper’s employee bashed him in the head with a skateboard. And now the fan, Alfredo Marino, wants justice!
According to Hollywood Life, Marino’s lawyer Craig Chisvin has filed a lawsuit with the L.A. County Superior Court, claiming Marino to have suffered a severe head injury due to the unwarranted attack.
TMZ confirmed the report, adding that Marino believes Weezy and his record label are responsible for the attack even though he doesn’t know for sure who his attacker was.
A source told E! Online, “This alleged situation happened so long ago and really was not a big deal at the time. It is shocking to a lot of us that so many months later this is being brought to court.”
Was that an admission that there could actually be some truth to this alleged event?
E! Online adds that Marino has requested damages for battery, negligent hiring, and assault.
Lil Wayne has yet to respond to the allegations.
