Lindsay Lohan finds herself in more financial troubles

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Lindsay Lohan is under fire for once again failing to pay her taxes.

As TheCelebrityCafe.com previously reported, Lohan suffered a great deal financially last year when the IRS seized her bank accounts after failing to pay more than $900,000 in back taxes. Scary Movie 5 costar Charlie Sheen opted to help Lohan by sending her a check for $100,000, but Lohan still remains in debt with the IRS.

According to Pop Stop TV, the Mean Girls actress is being accused of failing to pay taxes in 2011, a debt totaling $56,000 to the state of California.

The $56,000 is the latest in a series of financial woes that the troubled actress faces. Lohan owed $93,701 in 2009 and $140,203 in 2010.

Lohan still owes for all three years of debt. She has since moved back to New York to be near her mother, hoping to help ease her financial troubles.

Following poor reviews of her recent role in Liz and Dick, Lohan has found trouble breaking back into the film industry. As TheCelebrityCafe.com previously reported, she is slated to make a guest appearance on Sheen’s new sitcom, Anger Management.
