Liz Lemon of '30 Rock' inspires new Ben & Jerry's flavor

Who needs Cherry Garcia when you can indulge in a little Liz Lemon, the new official flavor released from Ben & Jerry’s ice cream brand following the finale of the hit series 30 Rock.

Liz Lemon, a character played by the hilarious Tina Fey, is a new flavor of frozen yogurt from the quirky-named ice cream brand. It features a blueberry lavender swirl interlaced in the lemon flavored frozen yogurt, Fox News reports.

“Liz Lemon” will be featured in Ben &Jerry’s ice cream shops before it hits stores, but indulgers can still grab a taste at the shop.

According to Business Wire, Kim Niemi, Senior Vice President of NBC Universal Television Publically spoke of the new flavor saying, “We are pleased to be working with Ben & Jerry’s once again and we know that the ’30 Rock’ fans will love the new Liz Lemon flavor while reminiscing about one of television’s most colorful characters.”

30 Rock said goodbye to viewers this week after a seven-year run. The series featured stars Alec Baldwin, Fey, Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski among many others.
