‘Lost’ actor Josh Holloway lands lead role on CBS’ ‘Intelligence’

Josh Holloway, who impressed audiences as Sawyer on ABC’s Lost, has been cast in Intelligence, a drama pilot in the works at CBS.

Intelligence was just greenlit this past week and was created by North Country’s Michael Seitzman. David Semel will direct and produce the pilot.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Holloway has been cast as former Navy SEAL Gabriel Black, a member of the SEAL team that the pilot and series wil focuse around. The team also includes an agent who has a microchip in his brain that lets him access the entire electromagnetic spectrum, adding a uniqueness to the story.

Since Lost ended in 2010, Holloway has appeared in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and guest starred on Community. He’s currently working on Paranoia with Liam Hemsworth.

Holloway’s Lost co-stars Daniel Dae-Kim and Michael Emerson currently star in CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 and Person of Interest, respectively.

In other CBS pilot news, Deadline confirmed that Nate Corddry (Harry’s Law) will co-star in Chuck Lorre’s Mom with Anna Faris.

Corddry also co-wrote the pilot on spec.
